About Pamoja Change Kenya

A New Beginning – Pamoja Change Kenya Official Launch Set for 10th April 2026

Pamoja Change Kenya (PCK), a locally registered, faith-based Public Benefit Organisation, has begun operations in Nairobi, Kilifi, and Tana River. With decades of experience in transformational development, PCK is preparing for its official launch on 10th April 2026, marking a new chapter in supporting underserved communities toward sustainable change.

A New Chapter for Community-Led Transformation

Since early April 2026, Pamoja Change Kenya (PCK) has been actively working in Nairobi, Kilifi, and Tana River counties, laying the groundwork for meaningful community transformation. While operations have started, the official launch event is scheduled for 10th April 2026, signaling a formal welcome to partners, communities, and stakeholders.

PCK is a locally registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with a faith-based foundation. Our name, Pamoja—Swahili for “together”—guides our work. We believe that lasting change happens when communities, government, civil society, churches, and partners unite to achieve shared goals.

Early Achievements

Even before the official launch, PCK has made significant progress:

  • County Coordination Offices: Operational offices established in Nairobi, Kilifi, and Tana River.
  • Community Assessments: Participatory assessments conducted to understand local barriers, needs, and strengths.
  • Community Advocate Training: 120 community advocates trained on disability inclusion and gender equality.
  • Inclusive Education Pilots: Programs started in 10 primary schools to ensure children with disabilities and girls access quality education.
  • Household Support Programs: 200 households supported with kitchen gardens and financial literacy training.

These early initiatives demonstrate PCK’s commitment to building capacity, promoting inclusion, and strengthening resilience in communities from day one.

Looking Ahead

Over the coming year, PCK will expand its work across four key areas:

  1. Inclusive Quality Education – Training teachers, engaging parents, and supporting children, especially girls and children with disabilities, to stay in school.
  2. Advocacy & Inclusion – Empowering persons with disabilities, women, and girls to claim their rights and participate in decision-making.
  3. Livelihoods & Resilience – Supporting households to achieve food security, economic stability, and improved wellbeing.
  4. Partner Strengthening – Building the capacity of local organisations to lead and sustain their own development.

Join Us for the Official Launch

The official launch on 10th April 2026 is a celebration of what we have already begun and a call to partners, donors, government agencies, NGOs, churches, and individuals to join PCK in creating lasting change. Contributions of time, expertise, resources, or simply spreading the word all help strengthen the communities we serve.
